Our classes are challenging, spiritual, nurturing and address individual needs. Every body-type is accommodated. All levels of ability and experience are honored.
Regular practice melts away tensions and habits that block vitality, peace and flexibility. Yoga is based on essential themes: sensitivity honesty, openness, focus, generosity, purity, contentment, passion, self-study, devotion. It's form is constantly changing, so we invite in many styles of yoga and awareness arts.
Wear loose clothing. We provide mats, towels, water, fruit and nuts.
Classes
Flow Yoga -- We focus on building strength, stamina, focus, and flexibility. Often called Vinyasa, this style flows from pose to pose coordinating breath with movement. A well-balanced practice combining hard work with deep relaxation.
Transformational Yoga - We practice living our wisdom, balance, and cheerfulness. It's concentration and compassion, exercise and spirituality. Classes include exercise, meditation, breath practice, visualization and spiritual readings. Need a place to practice your transformation or do you intuit you're more than the thoughts, beliefs and patterns you're living now?
Support Circles - Our intention is to enable men and women to transform, experience joy, effectiveness and connection. We hold the vision of a renewed sense of passion, personal responsibility and ability to live in sustainable community.
Power Yoga - An all-level class that offers a higher-paced and challenging sequence of poses in flowing transition.
Restorative Yoga - A safe, very gentle, nurturing practice. Rest, recover and relax in Michelle's healing presence.
Yoga and Creative Movement for Kids – A healthy and fun class geared towards kids ages 4-8. The class content includes yoga for enhancing physical flexibility (poses appropriate for children), breath work for calming the mind, storytelling to tap into childlike creativity, singing to cultivate conscious speaking, and creative movement to inspire freedom of movement. The class nurtures body awareness, coordination, focus, concentration, self-confidence, and creativity! A great start in cultivating a healthy lifestyle for your little one. No previous experience is necessary.
Qigong/Taiji - Traditional Chinese breathing and movement exercises. Taiji is understood to be the highest conceivable principle of how existence flows.
Shamanic Journey - Join Hutch and allow the power of the drum and your intention to launch you on a spiritual adventure where you can find healing, intuit answers, and work through emotional/psychological issues.
Are you pregnant?
Prenatal Yoga – These classes integrate yoga with coping and parenting strategies. Each class includes time for sharing and discussion. Email Helga for details or just drop into a class. Helga also teaches Mondays at 9am and expectant moms are welcome there as well.
